Original Flower Study in Watercolor on Paper
When I caught a glimpse of this painting hidden away in a dusty junk shop, I immediately thought of Rifle Paper and Anna Bond's floral patterns on dark backgrounds. The painting isn't perfect, as the paper has waved a little with age, but I love its simplicity. I think the flower is a rugosa rose. Or maybe a poppy?
- Original watercolor depicting freeform flowers, signed by the artist, in a painted white wood frame, good condition with a little warp in the paper (24.5"l x 20"h)
