The subject of this vintage poster is a Picasso painting called "The Young Painter", completed in 1972 less than a year before Picasso died. The exhibition advertised by this poster took place in Paris a month after his passing.
The original painting currently hangs in the Musée Picasso in Paris. The lithograph, designed by Henri Deschamps, was printed by the venerated French printing house Mourlot.
