The story behind this collection is very touching. You can read more about it here. But it is one of my most favorite ever in its modern simplicity. The abstract screenprint is bookended with a pair of elegant swooping obelisk candlesticks in brass. They are like a classic parenthetical to the chaos of the art. And the cubist mother-with-child sculpture belongs with this collection for a very powerful reason. Again, you can read it here.
- Abstract screenprint, Miriam K. Eaton (1921-2008), signed, titled "Winter Sun", excellent registration of colors and crisp layers, date unknown, matted and framed in high-gloss black (28" x 24")
- Candlesticks, solid brass, pair, elongated pyramid shape, lovely patina, vintage from the 1940s, very good condition (base: 4"x4"; height: 8.5")
- Sculpture, stone, modern cubist style of Mother and Child, unsigned, artist unknown, very good condition (2.5" x 3.25" x 8")
Shipping costs are included. Also, please note that everything I sell, and I mean everything, is used, antique, vintage, etc. That means sometimes scratched, dented, and worn. Imperfect. Not dusty, though. Or dirty.
